Head first, no regrets

Can I just say, before I start rambling, that I am well aware of how lucky I am to be able to experience and see the world as it is that's why I don't feel entitled to ask for anything more at this point. I just try to make the most out of what is handed over to me.

Having said that, I had the most unique escapade this last two weeks as I went on a cruise for the first time with my mom. First of all, I am dismayed on how there was no free wifi on board (lol) but I realized later on that you just don't need it! You're vacationing at the Bahamas, for chrissake, get off Facebook and Twitter (I'm pretty much referring to myself here). Anyway, I had to have my iPod with me at all times since I don't have any other camera with me. Of all the things to leave behind, I know. So I tried to capture everything as best as I can. However, I have taken more videos than photos with a plan of making a montage of sorts so I'm just gonna dump whatever decent pictures I find in here.

Second, NCL Getaway is filled with a lot of Filipino crew, which made me feel at home, and also a mix of travelers from different places and ages which I found fascinating to observe. It's like you're all in this trip together, enjoying the food, the parties, the tours and tons of activities. The most accurate definition of fun, in my opinion. Even though I personally enjoy traveling alone and all, I think this is probably one of those trips that is more fun if experienced with company.

Thirdly, we have been to Miami, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands, and Mexico - all of which is my first time to visit! It was lovely to have a taste of how life was like on such places that you constantly wish there was more time. But like I said, all this is more than enough. Until we meet again, I guess.

Lastly, here's a view of our neighbor ship docked at Grand Cayman while we're tendering back to our own ship. I'm getting more and more anxious to finish this video now...
