Can I just say that I've been meaning to post this photo set FOREVER. Sharing this was probably one of the major reasons I built this blog in the first place, tbh. We've only stayed in the city for one day (?!?), so what else would a girl do but walk around and snap photos, shop some, and squeeze in a broadway show if she can.
I guess I've always dreamt of going back there ever since.
These were taken from an NCL ship that was docked during our visit. We just quickly toured the vessel and went on to see Sister Act on broadway, starring Raven-Symoné. We took the cab, since we were running late, and met a very kind cabbie (shame, I forgot his name!). I may or may not have fallen asleep halfway through the show, though, after all the travel + walking we've done!
Afterwards, we tried to pass by the Museum of Modern Art but got caught up during their closing time (5pm - we got there at 4:45) and so I just ended up lurking on their store and buying some souvenirs, a notebook, and a sketchbook.
We roamed around the famous Times Square afterwards and fascinated over the flood of people and the hustle and bustle of probably the busiest city in the world. I was smitten. I just wanted to enter and explore every shop and restaurant we passed by but didn't have the time. There's still so much to discover - the Met, the Empire State, the Statue of Liberty, Strand book store, Mast Brothers, Gray's Papaya - I could go on and on! Alas, it was already time to leave. I knew a day is never going to be enough anyway. That's why I'm hoping I get my life together soon (HAHA) 'cause I just can't wait to get back.
Until then, NYC! Thnks fr th mmrs ~ <3
